A Bittersweet Hello
The last few months have been a little Bitter for all of us, it’s definitely time for something Sweet. May 17th is almost upon us and we cannot wait to throw open our doors, welcome you inside, and see everyone enjoy our irresistible new menu.
Lockdown was hard for everyone, however, we decided to take the opportunity to grow our brand, expand our tasty menu and work on the stunning interior of our restaurant. We have worked tirelessly creating new delicious recipes from delicious Wurgers, our crispy, fluffy waffles through to our premium, creamy milkshakes.
We are over the moon to be safely serving you from our incredible outdoor setting and we are most certainly excited to “let the good times roll”, Dr. Bibi, our talented founder is looking forward to greeting you at our stunning setting, stating; “The sun is shining, people are back out, and we can’t wait to have people sitting inside, especially after being empty for so many months.”
Despite missing everyone’s faces through lockdown, we managed to serve lots of you with our mouth-watering food drink and desserts, launching our online delivery service and allowing you to enjoy your favourite bit of sweet in the comfort of your home. If like us, however, you are a little bored of home comforts by now, you will be delighted to know we are welcoming customers to dine with us in our fabulous outdoor setting.
We have all been delighted to see people’s smiling faces these past few weeks. It’s great to be back doing what we do best, creating mouth-watering dishes, magical desserts, and even better, it has been our greatest pleasure seeing customer’s delight as they tuck into their favourite food. But just like all of you, we are counting down the days to May 17th, when we can welcome you indoors for the real Bittersweet experience. Expect warm welcomes, friendly service, a family atmosphere, a fabulous setting but most of all captivatingly delicious dishes and desserts. Whether you want an old favourite like sticky toffee pudding or are looking to try something new, our menu has something for you. Much like our fabulous location in the regenerated Oldham Town Hall, Bittersweet is classic with a playful twist. We have mirrored our philosophy with pops of colour, vibrance, and fun all mixed with classic, vintage interior. The historic Town Hall has undergone an impressive facelift, perfectly intertwining the building’s opulent original features with modern architectural design. The result being an impressive and unique setting, where Bittersweet is perfectly at home. We have taken great care and attention creating an exceptional setting to delight our customers’ senses and compliment our fun new menu to deliver a “Bitter Sweet Symphony” of taste and experience.
